OUR WORK
ABOUT US
Our residential studio in the south of France is the perfect destination for this week long creative workshop.
These tranquil verdant hills nestled beneath the pyrenees belie the incredibly vibrant alternative culture that thrives here. During the week not only will we make an album of original material, (recorded, mixed and arranged by Fergus McKay, whose 25 years of experience has included songwriting awards, and working with names such as Joan Armatrading, Leo Sayer and Edwyn Collins) but also visits to radio stations with live sessions broadcast throughout the region, web TV emissions, and a paid concert at "La Grangette".
PARTICIPATION
Daily life in Daumazan sur Arize is a bit like going back in time. Participants will have a choice of unique individual accommodation, including a beautiful traditional gypsy wagon, a vintage Mercedes house truck, even a 1960's river cruiser, (now on land!)
Gaia Miato is an accomplished Italian cook and will provide home made, locally sourced, seasonal, organic (where possible) meals. French wine and artisanal local beer, camp fires under the stars and jamming with local musicians will help get the creativity flowing.
Suggested donation for participation is €300 for European applicants - discounts available for long distance voyagers. Funding advice and bursaries possible (contact us to discuss).
